Poppy Seeds

Poppyseeds are relatively high in calcium, which is good for teeth and bones. In China, poppyseeds are used in the treatment of nausea and vomiting. They have a strong nutty flavor, making them the perfect “mixed seed”. That is to say that, they can be tasted in a mixed seed, but they are not overpowering. In fact, they compliment other seeds perfectly, by adding a palatable flavor where one may not have been without them.

Poppy seeds have long been thought to have health benefits. With their abundance of carbohydrates and calcium, organic poppy seeds are considered a good source of energy.
